Friends of Rescue help promote various dog rescue centres in Thailand. We are dedicated to helping with adoptions, sponsorships and fundraising. We also raise awareness of the individuals and organisations that are striving to make the lives of street dogs better.

Even though the world is slowly recovering from Covid, we now have the war in Ukraine and the cost of living crisis, so these rescue centres need your help more than ever. Donations are down throughout Thailand and we try to help as much as we can.

OUR MISSION

Adoption & Sponsorship: Highlight dogs available for adoption and sponsorship and provide information and assistants on both. The adoption process is easier than some people think, there are several organisations in Thailand that can help you get your dog to the UK or Europe. If you can’t adopt then sponsoring a dog provides the rescue centre with much-needed income.

Volunteer: Information is available on a selection of rescue centres we have personally visited, along with some basic information on what to expect if you decide to volunteer with the dogs. If you plan on travelling through Thailand we highly recommend spending some time at one of these rescues now that domestic tourist travel is allowed again.

Donate: Actively helping the smaller rescues with fundraising. Donating towards medical supplies and food wherever needed.

Spread the word: Social media can be the most powerful tool in helping promote each rescue centre to the outside world. Please help by sharing your experiences, and by spreading the word about volunteering and dog rescue centres in Thailand.

Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever.
